Rag 'N' Bone Man at the O2 Apollo, Manchester.

By Cody Wood.

With one of the most powerful voices in today's pop music, Rag 'N' Bone Man brought his 2024 tour to the O2 Apollo, Manchester, and we were lucky enough to be in attendance.

First appearing on radios in 2016 with the hit single "Human", Rag 'N' Bone Man has since built a career of soulful, neo-blues pop tracks that have swept listeners off their feet. With a voice that is unique, and recognisable anywhere, the success he has had since receiving the British Breakthrough Act award at the BRITs in 2017 has been astounding. In 2024, he released his most recent studio album, What Do You Believe In?, which received phenomenal feedback, and led to the tour which brought the singer to Manchester's iconic Apollo.

The night opened with a track straight from the new record "The Right Way", the crowd were instantly wowed by the singer's voice, somehow more incredible, and more powerful than on record. There was some confused with the setlist, as Rag 'N' Bone Man, aka Rory Graham, introduced the wrong song that was then played, but corrected himself afterward, laughing and saying he couldn't read the setlist in front of him. The song "Grace" was a standout of the night, which Rory revealed is his personal favourite from the album Human.

Rag 'N' Bone Man has collaborated twice in the past with DJ Calvin Harris, to fabulous success, and both of those tracks with included in the night's setlist, as well as the infamous "Human", which was phenomenal live. Rory's voice is timeless, and judging from the audience, appeals to a wide variety of ages. He is truly a talent that is built to last, and will stand the test of time in such a competitive industry.
