Six piece British metalcore outfit Bury Tomorrow brought a fabulous show to Manchester's Academy, featuring a stacked lineup of supports and a stellar performance.

SUPPORT FROM AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS
SUPPORT FROM MAKE THEM SUFFER
SUPPORT FROM THORNHILL
After a plethora of incredible, unique support acts, it was time for the main event, melodic metalcore legends, Bury Tomorrow. Opening the night up with "Abandon Us", a track straight from their latest record, The Seventh Sun, the six members took to the stage, to the warm welcome of an ecstatic crowd. After 12 years of being a band, you would expect no less than dedicated fans, who have stayed through various different member lineups and seven studio albums, the eighth of which is due next year.
"Earthbound" and "DEATH (Ever Colder)" followed, and as the intensity of the music increased, so did the energy of the crowd, as the night saw crowdsurfers making the most of the pit of moshing fans. Frontman Daniel Winter-Bates is a heavy metal icon on stage, drawing the eye, perfectly at home next to his brother, bassist Davyd Winter-Bates. The crowd are treated to some tracks off of the upcoming album Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience. Judging by their reactions, the album is highly anticipated. "Recovery?" and "Boltcutter" are up next.
The impressive "LIFE (Paradise Denied), saw the atmosphere of the crowd only increase as Bury Tomorrow dominated every inch of the venue. Drummer Adam Jackson kept the heartbeat of the night going with expertise and passionate playing, as lead guitarist Kristan Dawson brought riff after riff. The band have, over the years, managed to blend many different styles and elements of metal into their own unique sound, and the guitar riffs are an example of this, along with the layered heavier vocals with more melodic singing. The band took the crowd back with some older tracks, such as "Black Flame" and "Cannibal".
"Last Light" and "Choke" brought a phenomenal performance and night to a close. Ahead of their new album, Bury Tomorrow are already a fantastic representation of British metal, and with the singles from the album so far, we expect even bigger and better things to come, so watch this space!
